While working through grief, I couldn’t do my photography. It was many months before I picked up the camera. My sister’s jewels became the way out of the grief as I paired her treasures with the emotions of an amazing model, Mimi Faith.

Personal photography projects are amazing ways to break through creative holds or heartache.

Growing up in the midwest I longed to see the landscapes of Edward Weston, Brett Weston and Ansel Adams. I have not found light like that which illuminates the western landscape. The delight that I find in cloud formations above a ragged mountain line is intoxicating. 

The allure of the west snow capped mountains and teal skies called, I listened thru my camera.

Family sessions for the laid-back, creative, fun loving family. This two hour session isn’t just about family photos it is about making memories to talk and laugh about.
